Brunel University

Brunel University is based in West London, England, and is named after the inspirational Victorian engineer, Isambard Kingdom Brunel. It received its Charter in 1966 and became well known for pioneering sandwich courses in science, engineering and technology as well as social sciences. Traditionally its strengths had been engineering, scienece, technology and social sciences, but with the merger with the West London Institute in 1995, it was able to add subjects such as arts, humanities, geography, earth science, health and sports science.
